Function of Acidifier  

Decrease acid-binding capacity of daily ration and intragastric pH, improve the activity of the enzyme, regulate the speed of gastric emptying, the secretion of   protease, promote decomposition and  absorption of protein.

Adjust gastrointestinal microflora by decreasing pH.Pathogen like escherichia coli,streptococcus,staphylococcus, etc which grows well in more alkaline circumstance, but lactobacillus grows well in acidic circumstance. So acidifier can inhibit the reproduction of harmful microorganism, reduce the consumption of nutrient and  the toxin of growth resistance, meanwhile, promote the multiplication of beneficial bacteria. In addition,organic acid owns strong bactericidal ability.

Some organic acids are important intermediate products in the energy conversion process, they can involve in energy metabolism directly. can decrease tissue deterioration caused by steatolysis and gluconeogenesis. So that it improves nutrient digestibility and animal performance.

Organic acid can decrease intestinal tract pH, also can chelate with mineral substance which is easy to be hard dissolved salt in alkaline circumstance, and accelerating it absorption.

Adding organic acid in daily ration can stimulate taste bud cell, promote salivary secretion and enhance the appetite.
